Secret Garden - Confetti Magazine Inspiration Shoot

Dare I say it, I’m proud as punch of this bridal inspiration shoot I styled for Confetti magazine in Rathsallagh House last summer! Though I had a really quick turn-around time (6 days- 3 of which were a bank holiday which limited my ability to plan with other vendors!), I knew the shoot was in good hands with the help of my friend, photographer Niall Scully. We’d worked together on a shoot in Clonwilliam House that got published on Fly Away Bride, so I was super excited to collaborate with him again. We were also lucky enough to team up with some incredible other vendors (all of whom are listed below), and the end result was everything I had hoped for.

The theme for this shoot came to me when I posted this Instagram picture taken from food blogger Skye McAlpine’s apartment tour. As I said then; “The look I'm going for is very Robin Hood/ village fête/ 1930s rich people's garden party. Only hopefully with a bit of unexpected quirkiness- like glittery bunny ears.” Or like Midsomer Murders, only without all the murders. Y’know yerself.
