10 Things… Thought-Provoking Instagram Accounts to Follow
As the kids say, I been going through it™ this year, huns. The Covid pandemic and all that went with it has created, highlighted and intensified issues in many of our lives. This feeling isn’t unique, and everyone has their shit. But when you’re quarantined and lacking real life human connection, it can feel like you’re the only one who has ever felt like this.
Speaking for myself and my inability to sleep, scrolling through Instagram late at night has honestly been a source of comfort. I understand that that’s not the case for everyone, particularly on other social media platforms. Thankfully I’ve curated a follow list of accounts that offer inspiration, advice and kindness. If you’re not following accounts that bring you joy, I’d highly recommend reevaluating who you follow.
That being said, sometimes joy and cutesy pantry makeovers isn’t what I need. And there have been many instances where all I needed was for someone to reach inside the part of my head that is experiencing sadness or confusion and help me make sense of it. Never take for granted the comfort it gives you to know other people have been there, and have gotten far enough through it to put a name on it. Or in this case, a thought-provoking quote in a little square.
Here are 10 of my favourite Instagram accounts that do just that.
